Lesson Rates with Ascot School Horses

Half-hour Private: $55

• Student is responsible for properly grooming and tacking their horse.
• Student must be mounted 5 minutes prior to lesson
• Instruction is 30 minutes
• Student is responsible for cooling out, untacking and grooming after instruction.

One-hour Group: $65/person

• Groups are defined as 3 or more students
• Student is responsible for properly grooming and tacking their horse.
• Student must be mounted 5 minutes prior to lesson
• Instruction is 55 minutes
• Student is responsible for cooling out, untacking and grooming after instruction.

One-hour Private Beginner or Evaluation: $70

• Student is taught how to properly groom and tack up their horse
• 30 minutes of riding instruction
• Student is taught to untack, groom and hand-graze their horse
• Student new to Ascot, but with experience, fall under this category until they are placed into a group or private lesson

Semi-Private Hour: $80/person

Hour Private: $95

 

Rental (Practice Ride) Structure and Rates

Half-hour: $30

One-hour: $50

• Instructors determine if a student is eligible to practice ride
• Fantastic way to supplement and improve your riding education
• Same rules apply as to preparedness for a lesson
• Practice rides must occur while a staff member of Ascot is on premise
• No Jumping
